For immediate implants, i’ve seen videos where it was mentioned to use a Linderman drill at 2000rpm to make an initial slot to prevent the slope of the extraction socket from deflecting the drill. This is in regards to anterior teeth as well as upper premolars where you are aiming for lingualized positioning
I had two questions about this
1) do you run your follow up twist drills at 2000 rpm as well?
2) are you positioning the slot with the Linderman assuming it will be the most lingualized position of the final implant? and all subsequent twist drills will be kicked out to buccal? or with the subsequent twist drills, are you assuming you will cut more lingual? I’m trying to figure out how far lingual you want to end that intial slot with the Linderman
