With the new year what is everyone CE plans. I am planning on continuing my CE journey in fixed, taking remote anchorage course. I also want to start learning tissue grafting. What’s everyone else doing?

      • Remote anchorage sounds fire. I’d love to dive into those, but I also wonder how I would safely implement it on my own. What sort of stuff are you looking to learn @suredds ?

        • Idk. I want to do these AO4 rescue cases but I am no where near the skill set for them. These high level skills cost $$$$. This last year has been slower as result of inflation. I may have to put that on the back burner and perhaps focus on tissue management around implants. Is there any textbooks on the subject you can recommend?

          • As far as the rescue cases, do you mean managing AOX complications? Or doing AOX cases with severely atrophic patients? The complications management stuff is fun, but the severely atrophic cases are not so enticing for me as I never like the idea of getting sued. lol

This is a book that I’ve been wanting to get myself. https://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Esthetic-Periodontal-Implant-Surgery-Microsurgical/dp/1850972265?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=A33AYO0FZG6YH

            • Hey @restoredsmiles , any courses or books that you might recommend for soft tissue management around implants?

              • I have a lot of respect for David Wong and he is very matter of fact and down to earth that does great work so from an online aspect which are very convenient for me would be the Ninja Soft tissue course (sorry for the homer answer but it’s true) and for an in person course for me would be any course with Matt Fien which is an incredible periodontist in Florida which is amazing and is phenomenal at what he does and has some of his own in person tissue graft courses in various locations with other docs.

              • Don’t know if you’ve checked out Ninja Soft Tissue, Nick, but David does a good job of introducing people to the topic in that course. Although this is such a big and complex topic, I think it will take several courses and many books to really gain competence.
