Whats are everyones thoughts. I saw an ad for a doc who will teach you the technique below. He claims he immediately loads his cases also. How would a pt care for this while healing.

      • It looks like those little what they call many implants that some doctors place during the temporization. Period x-ray. They look like they’re actually located type of attachments and are removable and if that’s the case, then they would be able to remove them back-and-forth to keep them clean if that’s not the case and their screw retains and they’re not removable, then the prosthetic would have to clearly have a convex surface on the intaglio surface. Otherwise it would be a giant food wrap and there would be no way to clean it. It’s hard to tell from the x-ray because maybe there is wrap acrylic where it’s properly shaped and contour or there’s no undercuts, but those would be the two options. Hopefully this helps.

          • @suredds do you guys do any mini implants at affordable implants?

            • We do not, I know some docs who put them in for immediate retention on overdenture cases. It would be a good service imo.

              • I agree, I think they’re a pretty cool service. Not a perfect solution, but it works for many patients. And a piece of cake to place too!
