      • Happy hump day. This was my win today. It always feels good to see an immediate implant placed two weeks ago healing this nicely 🙂

      • Restored my second overdenture case today in our school clinic. It went well independently. Overdenture Cookbook really helped with each! Now only if school would let us do the surgery😅

      • My win was actually non-clinical. Last week I was a little bit burnt out and sort of in a funk over the weekend. Sometimes you get trapped in a state where a lot of little things seem to be going wrong. But starting this Monday, I grabbed the bull by the horns and, got back on track. I’m back in a good groove and ready to keep crushing it. 🔥 burnout affects us all!

        • No photos but today’s win was my largest ridge preservation yet. Ext #30 and 31. Mega defect left behind. Grafted with 2.0cc of particulate allograft, covered with 20x30mm collagen membrane (3-4 month resorption time) tucked under buccal and lingual really well. Sutured it up with nearly complete primary closure.

A win for me because I usually just reach for a bone plug instead of particulate and membrane.

        • What a great idea.
My win was placing two 3.0x13mm implants in a pretty thin 6-6.5mm wide maxilla that will help retain a RPD to hopefully avoid metal clasps in a esthetic area. I cheated slightly to the palatal to get 2mm buccal bone and went longer than I normally would bc the height was there and these 13s were left in stock and needed to get used up…went smooth overall in and out in less than 1h.
