So update on the mysteryous implant from Tuesday dicussion. I removed the implant crown. I noted that i was able to remove it by hand so that leads me to believe it loosened up. I had to tap on the buccal of the restoration to break the morse taper seal. I noted a bubble of pus which i popped. I think may have been from food getting below the gum b/c of loose crown or foreign body perhaps a piece of graft material. I reverse torque the implant to 35 Ncm. It didnt budge. I placed a healing abutment. I gave her a medrol dose pack and well see her in two weeks. We will see, fingers crossed.
