Make sure the healing abutment is the regular size (not mini), and make sure to remove any bone over the implant.     </p>

The cover screw is not exposed, patient is not in pain but there is some purulence on palpation and crestal bone loss.   Insertion torque was 35ncm.   I had to use external irrigation for this&hellip;</p>

Usually in the mandible when I have insertion torque 50ncm or greater.   Any recommendations to prevent early failures?   Is it important to do preop antibiotic prophylaxis (I don&#8217;t)?</p>
