									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have never placed an immediate implant before but I think I found a good first case. <br />Patient is a 40 year male with a low smile line. Here is my proposed implant site. </p>
<p>I am planning on placing a 4.2&#215;13 implant direct legacy 3. My current plan is to drill to a 2.8 osteotomy and then place the implant and hope for enough primary stability.</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve never done one before but the ridge width is adequate and the patient appears to have enough interocclusal space. Immediate were made about 5 months ago.</p>
<p>My question is, when deciding where to place the implants, do you guys routinely make a large flap&hellip;</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For immediate implants, i&#8217;ve seen videos where it was mentioned to use a Linderman drill at 2000rpm to make an initial slot to prevent the slope of the extraction socket from deflecting the drill. This is in regards to anterior teeth as well as upper premolars where you are aiming for lingualized positioning</p>
