Hey does anyone here know the hiossen guide tube parameters to make surgical guides in Blue Sky Bio?

      • TBH i’m not sure what the exact dimensions are. What I have done is ordered a couple of sleves from Blue Sky and used a trial and error method to see what fits on my implant drills for various systems. You could also call companies that make surgical guides and ask them to sell you the guide tubes for Hiossen specifically. Like this one: https://shop.3ddx.com/collections/guided-surgery-kit-sleeves

        • Hi buddy,

First post for me, and I like to help fellow dentites. I did a fair amount of surgical guides with Hiossen, and these are the settings that work for me. You need to add a little more on the guide hole diameter to allow the smooth guide part of the drill to go through.

Plus, the guide hole shrinks during curing. For example, on my old-ass Sprintray Moonray 3-d printer, I use 5.3 mm as the guide hole diameter even though the smooth cylinder of the guide drill is 5.0 mm. In the future, the best way to get the diameter of the guide cylinder is to use a digital caliper. I buy it cheap on amazon.

          Hiossen Regular

          Offset is 10.5

          Guide hole diameter

          Regular: (5.0mm)

          Wide: (5.7mm)

For OneGuide that is Keyless and No Metal Sleeve is Used in my Case, then Use the Formula Below to Calculate the Offset
Drill Length – Implant Length= Offset

          20.5 mm (DL) – 10 mm (IL)= 10.5 mm(Offset)
