									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Pt has had #29-#31 implant placed 30 years ago, #30 and #29 in good functional condition. #31 hasnt had functional crown for last 10 years.  has kept &#8221; failling off&#8221;</p>
<p>Fractured/ flowered implant collar?  abutment is loose, looks like possible fractured screw.</p>
<p>Is removing the only reccomended treatment for #31 implant for this case at this stage?</p>

<p><span>#10 implant placed 10 years ago.. #11 was badly resorbing and has since been removed and grafted with 3+ months healing  Pictures are from before and after grafting, as well as CBCT with estimated placement.</span></p>
<p>Case is to be done with a guide and preplanned. I have 2.4-2.6 mm between #10 implant and where #11&hellip;</p>

<p>1.) possible over-torquing or compression necrosis during placement</p>
<p>2.) overheating of bone during prep</p>
<p></p>
<p>of course a third option..</p>
<p>3.) some other factor we dont know and havent considered (i know real helpful right?)</p>

A ton of bone loss already to the near apex about 270 degrees around the implant.   it is 6mm wide platform.      During percussion is still feels decently integrated, but patient can tell it is moving and painful on chewing. </p>
<p>Can I treat that case like a natural tooth ext?&hellip;</p>
