I’m just starting with my Implant Surgery journey and am wondering if there are some more resources on how to do a “custom” healing abutment.

I’m currently going through “Implant Surgery 101” but the technique with a ring of flow in conjunction with a temporary abutment is not explained in the video course (if I’m not mistaken, not finished yet but can’t find anything about temporaries in the overview) but swiftly int the “little PDF of Implant wisdom”.

Another question: Why don’t why use a healing abutment and customize it and instead go for a temporary one? Because of the lack of retention in the healing abutment?
