Thank you so much for your quick reply Ivan.
The screw loosening and “cutting” of the splinted implant restoration happened over 10 years ago. I just read about it in the documentation of the previous dentist.

My guess it that the splinted restoration had a non-passive fit which could have caused the screw loosening.

Thank you so much for your hep Ivan.

I attached a screenshot. The two crowns were splinted originally but after screw loosening (many years ago) the were cut intraorally.

Thank you for the tips Steven.
Don’t have a CBCT but an iOS. The implant and restoration are nearly 20 years in place and I guess from the slightly buccal placement of the implant that an angulated abutment was used.
