I have been placing Implant club implants for the past 2-3 years (yes Ivan, I know you that much), and my beautiful GF needed an implant. Extraction and bone grafting was performed. Today I did the uncover. 60% of my cases, I have notice this overgrowth of bone. This on was part of the statistics. I just wanted to show off/share the case.

Hey Jonathan! Several different ways to attack this. If you’re thinking of potentially doing an immediate implant, I would definitely have a CBCT. If you do a lot of immediate implants, and there is sufficient bone, typically, I do these flapless

Hey great question!
Another thing to consider is tissue biotype. I think I have some decent implant skills, but I still refer out thin biotype cases in the anterior region to Perio. It’s just a personal preference. What do you do for those cases @restoredsmiles

I have also had luck with removing crowns with a tapper or with forceps with silicone tips when I had used temporary cement.
