I did GBR on #13 but extracted and grafted #12 as well. The membrane want large enough to  cover #12 so I placed particulate and covered  it with an osteogen plug.  It looks like the plug and particulate came out. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My thinking now days is &#8220;the smallest one that gets the job done.&#8221; You can easily place a a bigger implant if needed, but if you have  problems with a large implant, you&#8217;re left with a larger defect. Just make sure you consider the forces the implant is going to withstand. Restoring a #19 between a #18 and #20 will receive less forces than&hellip;</p>

I had checked the site the day before and everything looked great. Is there anything I should do now other then Rx antibiotics?</p>

That is at the most common cause of overheated  bone? I finally had to increase the motor rpms to 2000 to get the pilot drill to bite into the bone. </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I had a recent bad experience where a ptfe membrane kept slipping out. I retucked the membrane and resutured, but it popped out again. Should I have tucked a longer membrane? The patient was wearing a flipper (#8) and may have loosened it. </p>
