									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In dental school, I was taught I needed to wait a minimum of 3 months after extraction/socket grafting before site was &#8220;healed&#8221; or &#8220;stable&#8221; and ready for implant placement. Roughly the same timeline for implant placement in preparation for the restoration.</p>
<p>As a newer provider, I don&#8217;t have a ton or reps under my belt but I am anecdotally&hellip;</p>

Unknown to me, patient is a heavy bruxer had been wearing an orthodontic retainer that was applying significant vertical and lateral force to the implant healing cap.
