Thank you everyone for responding. He just sent me the scans before and after the procedure although the sinus isn’t very visible i told him to make a new one but you can partially see where the bone was placed as well as the greyish area.

Thank you for your response. She is looking for a fixed prosthesis. Initially what i wanted to do is make a digital wax up. How would you bring this to the mouth to evaluate all this? Wouldn’t you need to first extract all teeth followed by complete dentures then analyse?

Which approach for sinus lift would you do here

Hello everyone,

As you can see over here the anatomy of the sinus is irregular as the residual bone height is a lot higher buccally and goes down slightly palatally

In this case would you rather:

1. Do a crestal sinus left approach and place a 4.6(wide diameter)x7.5mm implant. Increasing the diameter to compensate the height in that case…

Quite a challenging case here, what would you do for this lower anterior sector. The two lower central incisors were extracted 6 months ago and the area has healed but still vertical bone loss is observed. Here is a video of the cbct scan.

Options to do:

– extractions of lower laterals followed by vertical and horizontal bone grafting…

I would also apply the ice cream cone technique. But if you cannot see it could be quite challenging. If it was too apical i would open a flap with relieving incisions and access the fenestration area grafting it and placing a collagen membrane

Thank you very much, very well explained👌. In terms of the low torque would you slightly wait longer for opening up and placing healing abutment? Implant was placed 3 months ago, would you wait till the 4 month/ 4 and a half month mark?
