Is implant ninja an AGD PACE Program Provider for FAGD/MAGD credit? Does the CE from the courses on implant ninja count towards AGD?
Ivan-
The CE from Implant Ninja does absolutely count towards AGD. We provide them through our partner Infodontics—which is run by prosthodontists Nate Farley and Kent Howell. 😁

Hey there Ahmad! Thanks for sharing this case! This looks like an excellent candidate for an overdenture case, my friend.
Is this your first case?
I like your plan. I see how the anterior segment of the maxilla is deficient in bone so placing 2 implants on either side is great. You have massive amount of bone in this case. Will you be…

I have a 61 yo F I am placing 4 implants for in the maxilla to restore as an overdenture. Her bone is not the best, and there are several areas where the bone is angulated, and I will likely have to angle the implants slightly. I was hoping to get your feedback on my plan, and then take it from there. I have included the cuts of where I want…

Upper Anterior Implant Position
I have actually seen a few studies about this, where the CBCT shows no to little bone but the implant is successful even after a decade. The main factor in these cases was the about of soft tissue. It being so apically I would not worry about it, learn from it and keep going. I see no reason why it would impact the success of the case. Like…

I agree with Ivan that you might have bone there (also agree don’t flap it lol). These things happen and we learn from them!

When MLB players and athletes hit a slump, it’s often because their fundamentals are just slightly off. Does anyone ever feel that way clinically? Maybe things aren’t lining up quite right, surgeries aren’t going as smoothly as you’d like, or you’re noticing a streak of less-than-ideal outcomes. How do you reset when that happens? Does anyone…

Bro this happens to me like 3x per year 🙈
I’ll share about how it is for me personally. For me, it’s when I have been sacrificing a bit and not taking care of myself personally. It’s the classic goose with the golden egg issue. Got to take care of yourself to make sure you can run the marathon and still be your best self.
What I do is, take a…

Same for me man. Same for me. I have absolutely no time for it.
However it got to a point where I realized that I was not bringing my best self for my family or for my work.
So I made it a non-negotiable. it’s basically my daily medicine. Even if I take 45 min out of the day to exercise and stretch, it actually adds productivity to the day… Read more2- View 1 reply

Can we use implant ninja for implant retained partial overdentures? How does this implant placement look?
-
Yo! Great question @jorbrown , yes you can certainly use our implants for implant-assisted partials. You just pop some locators on them and you’re good to go!
Keep in mind that for implant assisted partials you want the implants to be axially placed (as straight as you can) to the bite force so that you dont have too much off axis loading on them.

Sure can. I tend to lean on placing 6 on the Maxillary and only 2 on the mandible when it’s not fixed. I have had some cases not go as panned and having 6 makes a huge difference down the road.

Upper Anterior Implant Position
Hello William, thank you for posting this.
This is a very common issue and it is great that you did not actually break through the labial plate. Although it looks very thin on the CBCT in that region, if you flapped it you might find that there is still bone covering the implant and that no exposure is present. (I am not advising you to flap it!)

Upper Anterior Implant Position
Good day everyone ! Recently I have placed an implant in the 23 region without using a guide. Patient has a prominent buccal exostosis and low smile line. However the bone apical to the bony exostosis is narrow. I made a mistake by focusing too much on getting the ideal screw channel axis and placed the implant too lingually.
While the…

Hey guys first time post. Ive bren trying to learn more about implants and doing my best to get better and better as a clinician.
The other day I placed an implant and tried to do a crestal sinus lift using the densah burs and allograft. The CBCT showed that i had about 6mm of bone till the sinus floor at site of the first molar. So I decided…

Hi @rroque29 great to see you on here!
What makes you think you perfd the membrane?
Did you feel when you broke the floor of the sinus?
Would love to hear what you guys think, @jostanger @mickyfrick

When just getting Into Christal, sinus lifting, I’ve often found that it feels like you are going in blind Because, well, you are!
If the membrane was not punctured during the drilling protocol, the bone should stay localized.
However, the situation that you’re describing has happened to me many many times as well. Personally, it has not become…
