Hey everyone, still pretty new to implants here and don’t have too much experience yet. I have a patient that had an implant and bone graft placed at another office about 4 months ago. Looks like the graft failed – exposed bone, radiolucency around the implant where the graft is. No discomfort. No medications. Healthy patient. Any suggestions…

Hello Ninjas,
I have a pt that is not happy with implant crown #13, and wants to get a new one. But all the information that she could get is that implant is Alphabio, any ideas how to proceed with this? Thank you.

What doesn’t she like? Are there open contacts? Lack of papilla? I’m more concerned about MB root proximity. I am not sure if a new crown will fix the underlying lack of bone between the implant and root. I feel that this can only be fixed with a root amputation, graft and sleeping the implant.

Hi Everyone!
If you cannot take off the cover screw off an implant to do implant impressions because the threads have worn away and now screw driver is just spinning in cover screw, what do you do?
