So update on the mysteryous implant from Tuesday dicussion. I removed the implant crown. I noted that i was able to remove it by hand so that leads me to believe it loosened up. Anyone else heard of this new graft material called Tetranite.
Its like a bone cement. They have videos cementing implants in extraction sockets and getting about 50Ncm. 😱

Miron talked about this at a course I took, apparently been in testing since 2017, and being used in medical ortho surgeries to glue bones together. Very promising… however, from his words, only a small amount should be used due to decreased blood flow in glue area which mineralizes.

Reminds me of the bone graft called Bond-Apetite. My buddy Nabeel Cajee swears by it. However, I haven’t dug into the literature of bone cements.

Hi everyone.
Great case, graft looks solid. Pretty awesome advice from Steven V.
One question, just for the sake of knowing better. Wouldn’t be also a case option for non-surgical RCT, or Apicoectomy and grafting, and then, if necessary, an immediate placement?. Thoughts?

Drinking a lot more coffee as pts slow down before school starts. This year as a whole has been a lot slower which means fewer implants. 😭
Anyone else notice this also?- View 3 replies
