<p>I recently placed an implant that I’m worried about the prognosis.  My previous cases have all been free handed. I had my lab make a guide for this case. I ended up relying too much on the guide and placed the implant too close to the adjacent tooth (0.8mm). First off, no I don’t think you’re going to have to take this implant out. I think it’s gonna turn out just fine.</p>
<p>Secondly, you might not have as much bone as you think covering the implant. If that’s graft on top of the screw, it might resorb a few mm.</p>
<p>Be prepared to remove and shape bone a little bit for the&hellip;</p>

You’ll just have to remove bone that heals over the top which is a good problem to have and it’s pretty straightforward.</p>
